Our determination to build enduring relationships would mean nothing if we did not attach importance to local communities and the environmental factors affecting them.
It is as a company constantly weighing risk and looking to build long-term value that we took our decision never to use shipping vessels more than 20 years old, and to ship product in double-hulled vessels. We have also been active in examining the prospects for the use of biofuels as a component of certain gasoline blends. Gunvor follows the climate change debate and if we can make a contribution by altering fuel blends, we will do so.
